Come curious. Leave unhurried.
Not the loudest place in Istria. Perhaps that is precisely the point.
Start in the old centre
Tinjan is inland between the Pazin and Poreč areas. Begin your visit at the historic centre, then walk towards the stone table and the Draga viewpoint. Do not rush the small streets.
Build your day around the table
Taste local food, explore the heritage, and leave time for either the four-kilometre dry-stone wall trail or Kringa. If you want a producer visit or tasting, enquire ahead; opening hours vary.
Let the season shape the visit
Autumn brings the focus to pršut and the ISAP fair, while spring and early autumn often suit outdoor exploration. Tinjan remains a place of living communities throughout the year; travel respectfully.
